Laser Beast

Get ready for Laser Beast, a puzzle platformer where you navigate through deadly laser mazes using tight controls and quick thinking. Master the challenge by deactivating lasers and progressing through tricky levels.

This game was created in just two weeks for GDKO 2025 Round 1. The challenge was to create a core mechanic and a secondary mechanic to drive progression, so I went with classic platforming paired with a button to shut off lasers. It’s simple for Round 1 but sets the stage for more complex mechanics later in the tournament.

The idea was inspired by Mr. Beast's video "Deadliest Laser Maze".
